In 2012 I was a college student at a small Bible College in Hampton, VA, and I served as an intern at my local Church. While I was doing some work I heard God’s voice to go to the main sanctuary’s balcony and pray. On my way up the stairs, I realized that I needed direction for my life.
I fell on my face in prayer on the floor of the balcony and cried out to God for direction. Like so many other times I’ve been in prayer I left with more questions than answers, but I did have one clear directive. God called me to start a blog.
I started my first website as a place to start working on me. A place to journal and to write out what God had placed on my heart.
Through the years of ministry, I have come to realize that discipleship is supposed to help us to become like Christ, but many of us are in very different places both physically, mentally, and spiritually.
This site we originally designed to be a place where people from all walks of life could post their written testimonies and devotions, but it needs to be more. The goal is to be a site where people can find what they are looking for and to help people discover who Christ is so that they can become greater disciples.
